Happy Birthday to Breanden Vartorella, Zoey Tucker, Aiden Yoder and Mallory Perkins!

At 5:30 tonight, freshmen boys basketball will be at Ashland Crestview.

The Speech & Debate team competed at Vermilion this weekend. Congratulations to the team of Titus and Travin Baughman for placing 6th in Duo, Vinnie Strong took 4th in Big Questions, and the team of Lexi Weyer & Jamie Anderson took 2nd in Policy Debate. Miss Baughman will be here after school today. Be sure to sign up for January tournaments!

The boys JV basketball team lost a hard fought battle to Margaretta Friday night by a score of 39-32.  Andrew Neate led the Chargers in scoring with 13 points while Conrad Kluding tossed in 8 tallies.  The boys are back in action Friday at home against Vermilion.

The varsity girls basketball team utilized a stifling defense to defeat Vermilion on Saturday 43 to 25. Aliyah Caporini paced the attack with 16 points and 8 steals, while Alana Fidler and Mariah Medina each netted 8 points. Deana Blatnik was superb off the bench with 6 points and 8 rebounds. The junior varsity had 11 players reach the scoring column in defeating Vermilion 50 to 20. Olivia Vitaz reached double figures with 10 points, while Lydia Woodyard and Lindsay Roberts added 7 and 6 points respectively. The freshmen girls basketball team defeated Brookside 26 to 13. Lindsay Sneider led all scorers with 10 points and Madison Chaput contributed 8 points. Eliza Brickner had 5 steals and Lydia Woodyard hauled down 12 rebounds. The Lady Charger varsity and junior varsity basketball teams are back in action tomorrow night when they host Fremont St. Joe starting at 6. Hope to see you courtside.

Publications has started taking orders for the 2018-2019 yearbook.  Please turn in the form given to you by your homeroom teacher to Mr Murray along with a check for $60 made out to Edison High School.  You can also order an EHS yearbook from jostensyearbooks.com.  

On Saturday the varsity bowling teams took part in the Huron Eliminator.  The varsity boys finished 3rd in the first round but in the second round, in the best out of 5 matches they got beat by Huron in the last match.  The varsity girls finished 1st in round 1, swept Port Clinton in the the second round and swept Eastwood in the third.  And in the championship it was the best out of 3 games against Willard.  The girls were tired but came on strong and won the the tournament with a 191!  Great job by both teams.  

OHgo is selling Christmas T-Shirts! If you would like an order form, please stop by the library for the 4 T-shirt options. Shirts are $15 each. Money and order forms are due Thursday Dec 13. One shirt= 20 meals for the less fortunate. Shirts will be handed out during the last week of school before Christmas break! Help see the good! 

There will be a short Spanish Club meeting Tuesday after school in Profe's room. 

Any student who would like to help wrap Christmas boxes for OHgo this Wednesday are invited to join us in the library immediately after school. There will be plenty of cookies, hot chocolate and Christmas music along with lots of shared smiles!  You do not need to be a member of any club to stay and help.  It’s a good time to give back!
