Morning Announcements for Friday, May 3rd

The tennis team beat PC on Thursday 4-1. Winning for the team at singles were Parker Campbell, Adin Colbert and Noah Proctor. Winning at doubles was the team of Jonah Main/Sam McClester. The team is now 11-5. 

The Lady Chargers finished 6th at the Bellevue Elk Track Invitational. Leading the way for the Chargers were Haley Chaput and Grace Anderson. Haley took first place in the 800 and Grace won the 2-mile. Additional strong performances came from Ingrid Berckmueller who finished second in the 400 and Katie Cumston who was third in the high jump. The Lady Chargers compete again next Tuesday at Huron for the start of the SBC prelims. 

The Boys track team placed 5th at the Bellevue invite last night. Scoring points were Trevor Leimeister in the 100 and 200 with a PR of 22.94. Aiden Reeder placed 2nd in the 400, Chase King with a PR of 2:07 in the 800, and Jackson Michaelis in the mile. Jace Jeremay took 2nd in pole vault and J Williams took 4th in both shot and disc with Corbin Thayer placing 5th in shot. Great Job Boys! The team will compete again next Tuesday in the SBC Prelims at Huron.

The deadline to purchase a senior ad for the yearbook has been extended to May 3rd.  Please consider purchasing one.  See Mrs. Roan or a member of the yearbook staff with any questions!

The Melon Festival Queens contest is for high school girls entering their junior or senior year at Edison High School.  It is a scholarship program where the Queen and her court get the opportunity to travel around Ohio and represent our town and the Melon Festival!  Any future junior or senior girl who is interested in running please contact Mandi Richards, Queen coordinator at 419-602-3245

It is time to cash in your Do RIGHT tickets. We are starting Winner Wednesdays and will have Do RIGHT prizes available in the concession stand over lunch periods for the last four Wednesdays. There are three different prize levels - 2, 5 and 7 tickets. You can start cashing your tickets in on Wednesday, May 8th.
