Morning Announcements - Monday, February 10, 2025

The weather for today is partly sunny with a high of 30.

The Charger Cafe will serve sausage gravy, biscuit & cheese omelet or Daily Grab & Go, hash brown pattie, celery sticks with peanut butter,
fresh fruit and milk for lunch today.

Today’s Trivia question is: Who is credited with creating the first box of Valentine’s Day chocolates?

Today is the last day to order your carnations. If you forgot and didn’t get them ordered, see Mrs. Bishop.The carnations come in the colors of pink, white and red and will be delivered by the student council reps on Feb. 13. The cost for just 1 carnation is $1.50, but if you order 4 the cost is only $5. You save a dollar!! The more you buy the more you save.

Saturday morning the 7th grade Lady Chargers beat Huron 35-31 in overtime to win the SBC Bay Division Championship. Liv Meagrow scored 14pts, Kira Quillen scored 9pts, Paisley Keefer scored 6pts, Delaney Marshall scored 4pts and Megan Thompson scored 2pts.

Power of the Pen competed against 18 other schools at the District Competition in Tiffin on Saturday. The 7th-grade team placed 2nd
overall, with Josie Rockwell finishing in 8th place, Maddie Moon in 6th, and Kase Proctor in 4th. For the 8th-grade team, Clara Ward placed 10th, and Ava Pennell earned 4th place. Congratulations to the team!
