The weather for today is rain showers with a high of 53.

The Charger Cafe will serve rotini with meat sauce,  or Daily Grab & Go, green beans, fruit snack, fresh fruit and milk. 

Today’s Christmas Riddle is: Why is Rudolph so good at answering trivia questions 

Don’t forget about Holiday Spirit Week. Tomorrow, December 17 is Grinch Day.Wear your Grinch attire or the colors green and yellow. Please no facing painting. 

Here are the scores from the 4th-6th grade girls basketball.The 4th grade lady chargers won an exciting 30-29 game.  The 5th grade lady chargers came out on top 28-16.  The 6th grade lady chargers lost a hard fought game 31-28.

The 5th grade Edison Blue team won 25-17 against Vermillion. Scoring points were Daniel Butler, Anthony Lasch, Nolan Patterson, Jonah Sile, Corey Homan, Dominic Carrol and Mason Willgrube.  

5th grade boys “Orange” team lost to Huron 33-27.Scorers were Parker Smith, Clay Kamm, Levi Wells, Ryan Doyle, Naylen Watson, & Lincoln Schaefer.

Congratulations to the Edison Middle School Speech and Debate team that competed with 12 other middle schools from Central, Northern and Western Ohio at the Vermilion Tournament on Saturday. 

There were 28 competitors in Middle School congressional debate and 36 competitors in Oral Interpretation and Declamation.

Individual winners for the EMS squad include:

Harper Salmons - 5th place in Oral Interpretation

Madison Moon - 5th place in Congressional debate

Austin Warren - 6th place in Congressional Debate

Kasen Proctor - 7th place in Interpretation

Avery Thurston - 7th place in Congressional Debate.

All competitors can pick up their ballots and comments as well as NSDA point totals in their folders in the Main Office after school today.

The team takes the week off, but congressional debaters, Mr. Amstutz will send you next month's legislation so you can start writing speeches!

Power of the Pen has been cancelled for tomorrow.  There will be no power of the pen meeting tomorrow.

The answer for the riddle is that Rudolph is so good at trivia because he NOSE a lot.
