The Charger Cafe will serve a fresh baked pizza, green beans frozen fruit cup, and milk for lunch today.

Today’s Trivia question is: What awards are presented in January that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association organizes?

The 7th grade lady chargers beat Bellevue 28-26. Megan Thompson was the leading scorer with 12 points. The 8th grade girls fell to Bellevue last night 32-13.

The 7th grade boys lost to Bellevue last night, 49-12. Max Johnson and Austin Petznick led the Chargers with 5 points apiece. Bentley Allison added 2 points.

The 8th grade boys win over Bellevue 40-35. Leading in scoring was Mason Leber with 15, James Sebolt with 13, Owen Thurston with 5,

Talon Wechter with 4, Jake Seekins with 3.

On Monday, January 13 the 7th & 8th grade boys basketball teams travel to Vermilion for a game.

Attention Speech and Debate competitors: The bus for the speech and debate tournament at Hathaway Brown High School will leave from EHS on Saturday at 6:45 am.  Don't be late!

Listen for your name to be called down to the main office today!

Charger pride tickets have been earned by all students who have missed TWO DAYS or LESS this year. When your name is called, come down and be recognized!

The trivia answer is that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association organizes and presents the Golden Globe Awards.

We would like to close with a quote from Jean Hersey: “January is the month for dreaming.”

Thank you for watching and have a happy day!
