Happy birthday to Kade Romell, Jalen Kegarise, Seth Yontz, and Ray Adams!

Today at 10:30 boys golf at Erie County Invite at Plum Brook. At 7:00 tonight, varsity football will be at Norwalk. On Saturday morning at 9:00, cross country teams will be at the Galion Invite, and at 10:00, JV football will be at home with Norwalk.

The boys varsity and JV soccer teams suffered tough losses last night to Oak Harbor. Varsity lost 2-0 while the JV team lost 4-2. JV goals scored by Brody Yost and Garret McQuillen. Two assist for Jake Thompson.

The varsity volleyball team lost to Willard 25-18, 25-15, 25-20.  Grace Houser was 44 of 45 in serve receive with 13 digs, 7 points, and 1 ace.  Leaders at the net were Kira Appeman with 9 kills, Lilli Schuster with 8 kills, and Melissa Kuhl with 3 kills.  Hannah Vitaz had 3 blocks and Natalie Lambert was 59 of 59 setting with 23 assists and 7 digs.

The JV volleyball team beat Willard 25-14, 14-25, 25-13.  Halina Krul led the team with 9 points and Lindsay Roberts had 8 points.

The golf team tied their season low score in a loss to Margaretta 167-176. Casey Fair ended his last home Varsity match with a 39. Aden Hall ties a season low with a 40. Noah Pulaski had a 47. Connor Betts had a personal best 51.

Congratulations to the girls tennis team for not only beating Port Clinton on Thursday 5-0 but for winning all three matches this week by a 5-0 margin. Winning at singles last night were Mariah Medina, Jayla Medina and Emily Vogus. Winning at doubles were the teams of Kaylee Ries/Torri Keyser and Lexi Weyer/ Emily Moore. Winning for the Jv team were the doubles teams of Lindsey Kowalski/Emma Horschler and Lili Grant/ McKenna Shaffoe.

The Athletic office is selling varsity football presale tickets for the game at Norwalk on Friday night.  All presale tickets are $5 and tickets at the gate will be $6. Students attending the game are reminded that it’s an ORANGE out!

ACT Boot Camp is back!   Information is posted around school if you are interested in participating this year.  Registration forms are available in the library, outside of Mrs. Brown's office and you should have received an email.   Please see Mrs. Brown  if you have any questions.

Book Club will meet today after school in Mrs. Wobser's Room 203 to select our first read of the year.  Come with suggestions:)  Snacks will be provided.  Hope to see you there:)

Attention French Club!  We are looking for t-shirt designs.  If you have an idea or are artistically inclined, turn your design idea in to Madame by Friday, September 14th.  We will vote at the meeting on September 18.

On Tuesday September 18 we will hold our 1st Cleveland Clinic Worldwide Classroom.  Meet a Physician Assistant will be from 9-10:00 in the library.  If this is something you’d be interested in attending, please sign up outside of Mrs. Brown’s office.

Anyone interested in being a French Club officer should stop in and see Madame sometime this week.

The Math Lab is open everyday during 5th, 6th, and 7th lunch periods. Sign up in Mrs. Wallrabenstein's room 402.

Juniors & Seniors who received an invite for National Honor Society will be meeting Wednesday September 19th immediately after school in Ms Cull’s room!  If you’re unable to attend, please see Ms Cull ahead of time!

The Spanish Honor Society meeting has been changed to Monday at 7:30am in room 302

Thank you to all the students who auditioned or signed up for crew work for Don't Drink the Water.  A crew list will be posted soon and cast feedback slips are now available in the office. The first rehearsal for the full cast is Monday from 7-9.  Next week Wednesday's rehearsal will be fort the full cast and crews from 3:00-5:30.

Anyone who would like their name removed from the Homecoming Court ballot must see Mrs. Davis before 1st period on Tuesday the 18th.

The Firelands Challenge Academic team will practice from 2:50 - 4:15 today in Mrs. Wallrabenstein's room.
