Morning Announcement for Thursday, November 1

Today’s Trivia Question: True or false, Kids weren’t fans of Tootsie Rolls for Halloween treats in 2017. 

The lunch menu for today is mini pancakes with sausage or chef’s choice sandwich or salad bar, hash brown stars, vegetable juice, fresh veggies with hummus, assorted fruit and milk. 

On November 2 from 5-7 there is an open basketball gym here at the middle school for any 7th grade boy. Boys basketball tryouts start on Monday, November 5.  You must have a physical on file before trying out.  

Power of the Pen has practice today from 3:00-4:30

The 6th grade academic challenge team has practice everyday during lunch this week.  Team members may go to the front of the line if they need to.

Attention all 6th & 7th grade Edison Middle School Student Council members: There will be a committee meeting this Friday, November 2 after school until 4. Let Mrs. Bishop know if you are planning on attending.  

The Edison Middle School Parents' Club is having a fall fundraiser that goes until November 9, 2018.  We are selling coasters and garden stones. Parents’ Club receives 50% of the profit.  These make great Christmas gifts. Orders will be available for pickup the week of Dec 17th. Fliers were handed out in homeroom.
