Morning Announcement for Friday, November 9, 2018

Here is today’s question: Why can’t you get angry at a yam?

The lunch menu for today is Charger cheeseburger or chef’s choice sandwich or salad bar, oven baked curly fries, fresh veggies with hummus,  fresh fruit, and milk.   

Today is the LAST day for the Scholastic Book Fair.

The order forms for the coasters that the Edison Middle School Parents Club is selling are due in today.

The EMS Parents Club is hosting a dance for EMS 7th & 8th grade students tonight from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Admission is only $1 and you enter through the gym doors.  Dance is casual attire in the gym with refreshments in the cafeteria.  The school dress code and rules will be enforced.  No cell phones or technology items are allowed. Just leave that stuff at home.  

The following students please report to Mrs. Putnam's office after these announcements: Madison Butler, Sianna Woodyard, Aiden Metz, Ryan Hanson, Zach Main, and Brienna Marcy.

The answer for today’s joke is that you can’t get angry at a yam, because they are such sweet potatoes.
