Morning Announcements for Friday, May 25

Today’s Trivia Question is: Most people fall asleep in how many minutes?  



The lunch menu for today is chicken fries with sauce and a roll or salad bar or deli choice selection, fresh veggies, assorted fruit, and milk.  



Today will be the last day you will be allowed to charge in the cafeteria. Starting on Tuesday May 29 thru the end of the school year, you must have money on your account, or cash in hand in order to receive a full meal. Check with Ms. Bryant or Mrs. Geason to see your account status. This is a reminder to 8th graders who have outstanding all accounts must be taken care of before 8th grade recognition ceremony.



All boys and girls from age 4-14 as of August 1, 2018, can compete in the Elks Soccer Shoot Out this Saturday at Sofios Park in Norwalk. Registration at 12:30 and competition begins at 1:00.Top two boys and girls in each age group will receive a trophy and the 1st place winners will advance to the district competition. Fliers are in main office.



There is a Fitness Camp being offered at EHOVE for students entering grades 5-8.  On June 11-15 the morning session is from 8:30 - 11:30.



You can still buy a 2017-18 yearbook. You need to bring in $15 and see Mrs. Bishop. There are only 6 extra books to sell.  They will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.



Edison Middle School Student Council is hosting the 8th grade dance on May 31 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Gentlemen are to wear their khaki or plaid shorts and a collar shirt like a golf shirt or a button down shirt. No gym shorts or t-shirts permitted.   Ladies are to wear a casual simple dress that is school appropriate.  Flip flops are permitted!  Tickets are $3 and will be sold next week. No tickets will be sold at the door.
