Varsity vs Port Clinton

The Lady Chargers softball team fell to Port Clinton 15-12.  Audrey Linder had 3 hits, 3 runs, and 3 RBIs.  Stella Brown had 3 hits and scored 3 times.  Peyton Bissell and Abby Cloud each added 2 RBIs.

Varsity vs Wynford

Lady Chargers softball team won 10-8 vs Wynford.  Ivy Kluding went 3 for 4 including a triple and drove in 4 runs.  Audrey Linder was 3-3 with 2 runs scored.  Natalie Desautels added 2 hits and 2 runs scored.  Abby Cloud goes the distance striking out 6 earning the win.

Varsity vs Tiffin Columbian

The Lady Chargers softball team picked up a road win last night 14-11 at Tiffin.  Audrey Linder had 3 hits, 4 runs, and 3 RBI to lead the offense.  Natalie Desautels, Peyton Bissell, Abby Cloud, Adison Wechter, and Stella Brown each added 2 hits apiece.  Stella Brown earned the win in the circle going 5 innings.  Cloud pitched 2 innings of relief to earn the save.

Varsity vs Huron

In softball action, Audrey Linder went 3-4 and Ivy Kluding added 2 hits as the Lady Chargers fell to Huron last night 7-3.

Varsity vs Vermilion

Varsity softball fell to Vermilion 10-6.  Peyton Bissell led the way with 3 hits while Stella Brown and Natalie Desautels added 2 hits apiece.

Varsity vs Margaretta

The Lady Chargers softball team defeated Margaretta 2-0 last night to improve to 3-2.  Abby Cloud pitched a no-hitter striking out 8.  The defense was solid all night with Stella Brown making extraordinary effort from her 2nd base position.  Cloud, Kluding, and Desautels had a hit apiece.  Kluding and Desautels scored the game's 2 runs.

Morning Announcements for Tuesday, April 9th

Edison softball scored 19 first-inning runs in a doubleheader sweep of St. Paul. In Game 1, a 12-1 Edison win, Abby Cloud had three hits and drove in three runs. Natalie Desautels added two hits and scored three runs. The Chargers won Game 2 15-5, scoring nine times in the bottom of the first. Desautels and Audrey Linder each had three hits, including two doubles, for the Chargers. Desautels scored three runs from her leadoff spot and Linder scored four times.  Adison Wechter, Ivy Kluding, Stella Brown, and Peyton Bissell each had two hits for Edison. Next up @Margaretta Tuesday April 9th.

Varsity Softball vs. New London

Lady Chargers went down 7-5 to a really good New London team to start the softball season. Audrey Linder, Ivy Kluding, Abby Cloud, and Adison Wechter each collected multiple hits. Natalie Desautels also had one hit to go along with the effort play of the game.
