The boys basketball season came to end this past Friday against the #1 seed Cardinal Stritch. The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 10 points. Jack Brown, and Troy Rutherford both chipped in 4 points. We want to thank our Seniors for their dedication to the program these past four years, and we also want to thank our cheerleaders, fans, and our faculty staff for their support throughout the season. Good luck to everybody beginning their spring sport season! 

The boys varsity basketball team lost this past Friday to Port Clinton on Senior Night. The boys were led by our Seniors Friday night, Jack Brown scored 18 points and broke the regular season three point record to go along with his single game record that he previously broke earlier this year. Troy Rutherford also chipped in 4 points, and we want to thank them for the leadership, and dedication to the program these past four years. The boys return to action tonight in our first tournament game at Hopewell Loudon with a 7:30 tip-off vs Lakota. 

The boys varsity basketball team lost in overtime to Danbury last night. The boys were led by Kayden Bourget, who had 22 points, and Jack Brown added 19 points including two clutch free throws at the end of the 4th quarter. Bryson Wittmer added 9 points, Luke Blatnik added 7 points, Davin Wendt added 6 points, and Zach Rang added 2 points. The boys return to action Friday for Senior Night.  

The boys’ varsity basketball team lost to Willard Friday night. The boys were led in scoring by Davin Wendt, who had 15 points, Jack Brown added 14 points, Luke Blatnik had 13 points, and Troy Rutherford had 11 points. The boys return to action tomorrow night when we host Danbury for our last non-conference game of the regular season.  

The boys varsity basketball team split this weekend with a tough loss at home v. Margaretta and a road win at South Central. The boys were led Friday night by Jack Brown, who scored 24 points and set the school record for 8 three pointers in a single game. Congrats Jack! Luke Blatnik added 10 points and 8 assists Friday. Bryson Wittmer and Kayden Bourget each added 7 points, and Troy Rutherford and Davin Wendt each chipped in 5 points. Saturday night the boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 22 points, Jack Brown had 15 points, and Luke Blatnik added 10 points. The boys return to action this Friday at home v. Willard.

The boys were led in scoring Friday by Kayden Bourget, who had 12 points, and Jack Brown and Luke Blatnik each added 11 points. Saturday the boys were paced by Kayden Bourget's 16 points, Davin Wendt had 9 points, Jack Brown had 8 points, and Luke Blatnik chipped in 7 points. The boys return to action this Saturday when we host Firelands.  

The boys varsity basketball team lost Saturday night to Keystone 72-49. The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 17 points, Troy Rutherford had 11 points, and Luke Blatnik added 9 points. The boys are back in action tonight at Bellevue.

Bryson Wittmer chipped in 6 points, and Jack Brown added 5 points. The boys return to action this Friday when we host Huron.

We were led in scoring by Davin Wendt, who made 4 three pointers and finished with 16 points, Kayden Bourget went 5 for 5 for the line and finished with 15 points, Jack Brown made 3 three pointers for 9 points, Bryson Wittmer chipped in 8 points, Luke Blatnik added 7 points, Troy Rutherford added 6 points, and Grayson Smith contributed 5 points. The boys return to action this Tuesday when we host Norwalk St. Paul.

The boys were led in scoring by Grayson Smith, who had 10 points, Davin Wendt had 7 points, Luke Blatnik had 6 points, Jack Brown had 5 points, and Bryson Wittmer and Coltyn Meagrow each chipped in a bucket. The boys return to action this Saturday at Margaretta.  

The boys varsity basketball team lost to Clear Fork last night on the road. The boys competed hard, but couldn't overcome a tough shooting night in the 3rd quarter. The boys were led in scoring by Jack Brown, who had 20 points with 4 three pointers. Kayden Bourget added 7, and Davin Wendt contributed 5 points. The boys return to action this Friday at Oak Harbor for another Bay division game.  

The boys varsity basketball team lost to Huron on the road this past Friday. The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 15 points, Jack Brown had 12 points, Davin Wendt had 7 points, and Luke Blatnik added 6 points. The boys return to action tonight at Clear Fork.  

The boys varsity basketball team opened up the season with a victory on the road at New London. The boys forced 17 turnovers as a team, and had 26 offensive rebounds. They were led in scoring by Bryson Wittmer, who had 13, Davin Wendt, who added 3 3pointers and 11 points, Kayden Bourget had 8 points, while Grayson Smith and Luke Blatnik each added 6 points. Cole Leimeister, Jack Brown, Zach Rang, Gavin O'Dell, and Lucas Langhals all contributed to the scoring, as well. The boys return to action this Friday at Huron for our first conference game against the rival Tigers.  

The boys varsity basketball team lost to Colonel Crawford this past Friday ending the 2021-22 season. Thank you to our Seniors, Brady Barker, Gabe Rang, Keegan Smith, and Noah Smith for their dedication and effort over the past four years. We would also like to thank everyone that supported us this season: our parents, school staff, fans, and our cheerleaders! Good luck to all of our athletes as they begin their Spring Sports season!  

The boys varsity basketball team won their sectional semi-final match-up with the Lakota Raiders 54-34. The boys were led in scoring by Jack Brown who had 5 1st half 3 pointers for 15 points. Kayden Bourget added 12 points, Troy Rutherford added 10 points, Luke Blatnik added 6 points, and Noah Smith had 5 points. The boys will play for a Sectional Championship this Friday against Colonel Crawford at Monroeville HS at 5:30 p.m.  

The boys varsity basketball lost a tough game on the road last night to Woodmore 41-36. The boys had a great defensive effort, but came up short down the stretch. The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 12 points, Luke Blatnik who had 8 points, and Gabe Rang had 6 points. The boys finish the regular season this Friday at Port Clinton before starting tournament play at Monroeville next Tuesday v. Lakota. 

The boys varsity basketball team lost to South Central last night. The boys had a balanced offensive night with Kayden Bourget scoring 9 points, Jack Brown, Luke Blatnik, and Troy Rutherford each added 8 points. The boys return to action tonight at Woodmore. 

The boys varsity lost Friday on Senior Night to visiting Willard. The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 21 points, and Troy Rutherford who added 11 points. The game started with Keegan Smith joining his classmates and starting in his final game after missing the season due to a knee injury. It was a great idea, thought of by his senior teammates Brady Barker, Noah Smith, and Gabe Rang. We return to the action tonight for our senior's last night in the Thunderdome as they take on South Central. 

The boys varsity basketball team lost to Margaretta this past Friday 69-44. The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 17 points. Troy Rutherford added 7 points, and Gabe Rang added 5 points. The boys host Willard this Friday for Senior Night.

The boys varsity basketball team lost a tough one on the road to Firelands 47-42 after leading for most of the game. The boys were led in scoring by Brady Barker, who had 14 points, Jack Brown had 11 points, and Noah Smith added 8 points and great all around play. The boys return to action this Friday against Margaretta at home and then Saturday against South Central at home.  

The boys varsity basketball team lost to Clyde last night 74-34. The boys were balanced in scoring with Luke Blatnik, Jack Brown, and Kayden Bourget each having 7 points. Noah Smith and Brady Barker each contributed 4 points each. The boys will travel to Firelands Saturday night for a non-conference game.

The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget, who had 14 points, Luke Blatnik had 10 points, Brady Barker had 8 points, Jack Brown added 7 points, and Troy Rutherford added 6 points. The boys varsity basketball team lost to Norwalk St. Paul last night on the road. The boys were led in scoring by Kayden Bourget who had 20 points. The boys return home this Thursday when we host Port Clinton.  

The boys varsity dropped two tough games over the weekend against Oak Harbor and Bellevue. The boys fought hard, but ultimately came up short. We were led in rebounds by Troy Rutherford who had 12 rebounds, Brady Barker had 11 rebounds, and Noah Smith had 10 rebounds. We were also led in assists by Luke Blatnik who had 3 assists, and led in steals by Gabe Rang who had 4 steals. Thank you to the students who came to support us this past weekend to give a home court advantage!  

The boys varsity dropped their first game of the season this past Friday at Huron 58-33. The boys were led in scoring by Troy Rutherford, and Kayden Bourget who both had 8 points apiece. Jack Brown and Brady Barker each added 5 points, as well. The boys are back in action this weekend with a double-header in the Thunderdome with Oak Harbor Friday night, and Bellevue Saturday night.

Kayden Bourget added 16 points, and Jack Brown added 8 points. Gabe Rang, Noah Smith, Troy Rutherford, and Luke Blatnik all added tough defense and rebounding. The boys return to action this week at Huron after the Varsity Girls game Friday night.

We would like to thank the seniors for their 4 years to the program, the cheerleaders, parents, and fans for their support, and everyone from the administration, the ticket takers, to the announcers, to the scorekeepers that made this season possible.

The boys were led in scoring by Lincoln Meredith who scored 17 points, Dylan O'Dell scored 15 points, Clay Byington chipped in 11 points, Grant Ott scored 10 points all in Overtime, and Troy Rutherford and Luke Bissell each chipped in 5 points. The boys will start tournament play this week at Willard Wednesday night.

Saturday the boys were led in scoring by Dylan O'Dell, who scored 11 points, and Luke Bissell who scored 9 points. The seniors will play their final game in the Thunder Dome tonight against Firelands.

Saturday, the boys played well with a balanced offensive attack but ultimately fell short. The boys return to action this Wednesday v. Keystone, Friday v. Port Clinton for Senior Night, and Saturday v. Huron.

The boys were led in scoring by Lincoln Meredith who scored 10 points, Brady Barker and Keegan Smith both chipped in 6 points, and Jack Brown added 2 more points. The boys return to action this Monday vs. SBC rival Huron.

The boys were led by Dylan O'Dell who scored 18 points, Lincoln Meredith who scored 17 points, Luke Bissell who scored 11 points, and Clay Byington who added 9 points. The boys will return to action this Friday when they host Oak Harbor.  

The Athletic Department would like to congratulate the following student-athletes for being nominated by their coaches as athlete of the month for December.  Aliyah Caporini- Aliyah Averaged 17.5 ppg, 9 rebs, 6 steals, and 3 assists over a six-game stretch in December. She had 19 points, 6 steals, and 5 rebounds against Margaretta and a huge 29 points, 13 rebounds, 5 steal performance in an overtime win at Oak Harbor.   Lincoln Meredith-  Lincoln scored 22 points against Norwalk St. Paul and has had a great start to his senior season.  Please stop into the athletic office to receive your award.
